To Register
Please follow steps 1-3 below. If you would like more information before you register, please call our office. We accept enrollment right up to the start of the course if space is available. However, due to limited space, we suggest you register early. If the course you are interested in is already full, you will be notified, and your name will be place on a waiting list (we occasionally have cancellations).
Please contact our workshop coordinator by phone, fax, or contact us regarding workshops and ask to be placed on the reservation list for the workshop(s) you are interested in attending. If you are contacting us by phone or fax be sure to include your name, telephone number, and email address. We will contact you within a day or two to follow up with an enrollment agreement.
Step 2: Submit an Enrollment Agreement & Tuition Deposit
An Enrollment Agreement and a Tuition Deposit of 50% per day attending are required to guarantee your spot in in a course. The deposit confirms your enrollment in the workshop. The tuition deposit is applied against the total tuition for the workshop. Deposits are fully refundable if a cancellation is received in our office at least 60 days prior to the start of the course. Our complete cancellation policy is outlined below.
Step 3: Registration/Prep Packet & Questionnaire
Approximately 3 weeks prior to the start of the course you will receive a packet of registration materials which will include a Questionnaire regarding your past metalworking experience, what you wish to learn, and the types of projects you are currently working on or want to work on, and your goals for the class. Please return this Questionnaire at least 7 days prior to the workshop start date.
The registration packet will also include information on local restaurants, driving directions to our location, product discounts, and any preparatory materials that may be needed for the course you are attending (not all courses have prep materials).
Final Tuition payments
The remainder of the tuition due for the workshop must be paid upon arrival at the workshop. We suggest you register early as possible as all of our workshops have limited enrollment.
Cancellation Policy
Late cancellations can be a problem as we typically cannot fill that student’s spot. Many of our attendees travel great distances to our courses and usually cannot afford the high-cost associated with purchasing airline tickets at the last-minute without any advance purchase time. We ask that you please keep this in mind, and for this reason we have the following cancellation policy:
- Cancellations for tuition deposits received 60 days priorto the course start date are fully refunded.
- Cancellations received 30-60 days prior to the course start date permit the student to transfer the tuition deposit to another TM workshop at a later date.
- Cancellations received within 30 days of the start of the course receive no refunds or transfer options for the tuition deposit.*
- No refunds are given for cancellations received after the workshop is in progress, or for no-shows.*
* In the case of a student's prolonged illness or injury, or a death in the immediate family of a student or any other personal or professional circumstances that make it impractical for the student to attend or complete the program, the school at its sole discretion, will make a settlement that is reasonable and fair to both the student and the school. TM Technologies will propose a settlement within 30 days of receipt of notice of the situation.
Note:Â We reserve the right to cancel any program that does not meet minimum participant requirements; in which case participants will be informed as soon as possible and all money will be refunded. We are not responsible for any losses incurred as a result of a course cancellation. Although our courses are generally full, if cancellation is a concern, we recommend purchasing a refundable airline ticket.
