"Aero Braze" for Aluminum
With these products, Rod and Flux, and Flux Core rod, you may joint many types of fittings to tanks, using
traditional aircraft technology.
These photos (below) are of original airplane tanks with brazed fittings. This oxy-acetylene torch process
is a proven method and has been used for over 60 years in American aircraft production.
These products are the finest in the industry today, and I use them in my shop on expensive aircraft today.
The Rod and Flux Combination Package: you get about 40 - 1/16" dia. X 18" long rods and 4 oz. of flux.
The Flux Core rod is about 80 rods, also 1/16" dia. and 18" long.
"I got my product today. I quickly got some of the fluxed aluminum brazing rod and applied it to some 3" 6061
aluminum telescope tubing. I am impressed. A mapgas torch and a (very) little skill indicated to me
that this is the product I was looking for. Flows right on time, every time. ASTM testing (me and a
wild hammer) proves the integrity of the joint as far as I can take it. Thank you."
